I got an email from my Course Manager today-it seems that I will be down at Ft Knox from 10Oct to 22Oct2005 for Stryker training. That's the good news. The bad news is that we will possibly be starting 88M training in the spring. For all those who don't speak Armyese, that is a Heavy Vehicle Operator. That is military for a fucking truck driver. I have less than 22 months until retirement and they want to make me a truck driver! Are they fucking nuts?!
I am a TANKER! I have been a tanker for almost 21 years and I want to retire as a tanker, not a truck driver!
